ACC Plan Consolidation
FAQs
Getting started
Your retirement accounts will move to RPB automatically. You don’t need to do anything.
If you have insurance through ACC, you may need to take steps to keep or update your coverage. Visit the Insurance tab to learn what applies to you.
You can stay in RPB’s retirement plan for up to five years after you begin working for a Conservative or former URJ congregation. If you’re already working for one during the ACC transition, your grace period ends June 30, 2032. The same five-year grace period applies if you move to one of these congregations in the future.
Your retirement accounts will move to RPB automatically, and your current payment arrangements will stay the same. You don’t need to do anything. If you have questions, contact RPB beginning January 1, 2027.
No. Your NetBenefits username and password will stay the same. And with RPB, you'll use that same login to access MyRPB for Participants, RPB’s online portal.
We recommend making MyRPB your starting point. Simply log in from RPB’s homepage. From there, you'll be able to access your retirement account on NetBenefits, and view your insurance coverage, reported compensation and contribution rates, and beneficiary information—all in one place.
Note: Your insurance information may take a little longer to appear while your employer provides RPB with your compensation and retirement contribution details.
Your retirement account beneficiaries will carry over to RPB, but we recommend reviewing them after January 1, 2027, to make sure they still reflect your wishes. You’ll also need to name beneficiaries for your RPB life insurance. You can do both in MyRPB for Participants.
Retirement accounts and investments
RPB offers a different mix of investments, including the Reform Jewish Values (RJV) Stock Fund. Your money will initially go into a target date fund based on your birth year. This fund offers a mix of investments that adjusts automatically as you get closer to retirement.
Your ACC balance will move to your existing RPB account as cash and be invested based on your current RPB investment elections. Your future contributions and automatic rebalancing settings will stay the same.
No. You can choose from RPB’s full investment lineup. You can review your options now and make changes after the transition.
Automatic rebalancing will be turned off when your money moves into a single target date fund. If you later choose to invest in more than one fund, you can turn rebalancing back on.
Your loans will move to RPB with the same balances, interest rates, and payment schedules. RPB allows only one outstanding loan at a time, but any loans you already have through ACC will continue under their current terms.
Yes. Like ACC, RPB is a church plan. Eligible clergy can continue to claim the housing allowance tax exclusion on qualifying retirement payments, subject to IRS rules.
Your quarterly statement from Fidelity will be available on NetBenefits in January 2027. Statements aren’t automatically mailed to your home.
To receive statements by mail, call Fidelity at (800) 343-0860 or log in to NetBenefits and select Profile → Preferences.
In the Tax Forms section of Fidelity NetBenefits, select your ACC retirement plan account to see your tax forms from 2026 and earlier. If you have an ACC supplemental plan account, select that account for its tax forms.
Don’t select your RPB retirement account to look for ACC tax forms from 2026 or earlier.
Starting January 1, 2027, RPB will be your contact for all questions about your ACC supplemental plan, including when and how you can receive payments. This is especially important as you get closer to retirement or age 65.
Insurance
Yes, if you qualify. You can enroll in long-term disability (LTD) insurance during RPB’s open enrollment periods.
If you’re working and your total retirement contributions are at least 10% of your compensation, you’ll automatically receive basic life insurance at no additional cost. You can also buy supplemental life insurance.
Your group LTD and life insurance coverage ends. If you start working for another employer right away, let RPB know to minimize a gap in coverage. If you stop working altogether, you may be able to convert your group insurance to an individual policy. Contact RPB for more information.
RPB will email you more information about insurance enrollment soon, including eligibility, how to enroll, and any steps you need to take.
